Why did you decide to join the FST position with Sysmex?

I joined the FST program because it provides comprehensive training for the Service Engineer position.

What makes the FST program unique?

The FST program combines formal classroom training with one-on-one training with a seasoned Service Engineer. This gives you an opportunity to practice what you have been taught with the supervision of an experienced Service Engineer. You work with many different Service Engineers in the FST program to diversify your knowledge bank and your contact list. Each Service Engineer you work with will have different experiences to learn from and will have a different way of finding the solution to a problem.

Tell us about the type of person it takes to be successful in the FST program.

A successful FST is someone who adapts quickly and likes to learn in order to continuously improve.

What has been the most amazing experience or day you’ve had as an FST or a Service Engineer?

My favorite experiences in the FST program were during formal training. You get to learn with a small group of people, you get to know each other well, and you have fun while you learn.

How have you seen the Sysmex Way in action?

I see the Sysmex Way in action every time I have a problem. Sysmex provides you with so many life lines from the TC hotline to senior Service Engineers; everyone is willing to help you find a solution.

What do our customers say about Sysmex?

Our customers love the reliability of Sysmex instruments and usually their only complaint is they don’t get to see their friendly Service Engineer often.

Tell us about the Sysmex products and what make them top-notch?

Sysmex instruments are top-notch because they are reliable and keep the customer running longer. Sysmex also has SNCS remote software which is used to help get a customer running again quickly instead of having to wait for service.

Why would a college student (or anyone) choose to join the FST program at Sysmex as a place to grow his/her career?

The FST program is a position that allows you to travel around to different major cities while you learn. You get to work, learn, and sight see! Sysmex is a company that takes care of the customer by promptly responding to customer needs, and throughout the year holds fundraisers for charities. Sysmex listens to their employees and takes action to create a good work-life balance.
